Tips & Tricks to Perfecting Your Pinup Style

Are you new to dressing pinup?  Are you wondering where to start?

I remember when I first started dressing in the pinup style.  Finding price friendly wardrobe essentials was not easy.  Over the past 4 years I have learned some tips and tricks which I want to share with you all.  So I will be starting a new blog series called Pinup 101.

What will you find in this blog series?

It will include easy and budget friendly things you can make or buy that will help grow your wardrobe and allow you to dress in the pinup style every day.

Why am I starting this post series?

As much as I love my closet staples, novelty prints, and more from reproductions brands like Pinup Girl Clothing, Collectif, Vixen by Micheline Pit, and Unique Vintage spending $100 on a swing skirt is not always feasible.  I would like to help others who want to dress in this style, be it every day or just for an occasion, achieve the look without breaking the bank.

Will it just be about clothes?

No, I will touch on clothes but also include: accessories, shoes, makeup, and more.

How often with you post to this series?

I still want my main posts to be about sewing and some of my projects will fall into this blog series.  I will be interspersing my tips and tricks in between my sewing posts.  So probably once a month.

Is this something that interests you?  Is there something specific you would want to know about?  Let me know in the comments down below and I will create a post specifically based on any questions I get.
